GU is committed to promoting sustainability both on and off campus. Our students work with children's programs and school systems to build and maintain community gardens throughout the county. GU students work with kids teaching them about gardening, healthy lifestyles, and sustainable living while also becoming role models in the children's lives. Students and kids work together, to prep the garden, plant seeds, maintain the area, and then harvest the growth.
