Colleges across the country have huge waste problems and contribute obscene amounts to landfills each day. GU’s Waste and Recycling program rewards departments for conserving resources and minimizing waste. We also have compost systems for both food service areas and residence halls to eliminate food waste. Known for our recycling initiatives, students are taught how to properly recycle and have readily available recycling centers throughout campus.
